Jackson grew up in Ocoee, Tennessee and moved to Chattanooga to attend UTC and began working on political campaigns. He's worked with a number of candidates in Chattanooga, including David Sharpe, Joda Thongnopnua, Melody Shekari, and others. He currently holds a BS in Accounting from UTC and works for the City of Chattanooga.
Alix Thornhill (she/they) is the Vice President of the Tennessee College Democrats and the Treasurer of the Chattanooga Young Democrats. She grew up in South Nashville, founding her career in politics on advocacy for civil rights and economic equality. She seeks to better the world through art, compassion, and an unwavering allegiance to truth.
Terence is a 24-year-old college student in his junior year at UTC. His major is political science and, upon graduation, he intends on continuing his education in law school. He works and has worked in various local political organizations. Outside of that, he enjoys mountain biking, trout fishing, and hiking with his pup, Nellie.
Rachel is relatively new to the Chattanooga Young Democrats and to political campaigning. She currently works for Hamilton County Schools in family and community engagement after returning to the area from Washington, D.C., where she completed a post-graduate policy fellowship studying U.S. nuclear weapons policy. A native of Kodak, Tennessee, Rachel graduated from UTC in 2018 with a degree in Political Science.
